2017 Oregon Pinot Noir

The fruit for this wine came from the Varga Vineyard in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. After hand harvesting, the fruit was transferred via refrigerated semi from Oregon to Vista, CA where it was gently destemmed, cold soaked for two days and received twice-daily punch downs during fermentation. The Oregon Pinot Noir is predominantly Pommard clone along with 115, 667 and 777. Medium bodied with flavors of cranberry, cherry, blueberry and plum; this wine is great as your first beverage of the day and pairs well with a wide range of food. $30

2017 Le Grande Affaire Pinot Noir

This wine is KIND OF A BIG DEAL. It’s a blend of our favorite barrels in the cellar from the 2017 vintage. Containing multiple Dijon clones from the Varga Vineyard in the Willamette Valley and vinified in the same style as the Oregon Pinot Noir but with a different barrel treatment, the influence of newer oak is noticeable in this wine. Vibrant color and expressive dark red fruit flavors are balanced with smooth tannins. $38
